I have been exercising and eating right. I even cooked a healthy dinner with chicken and asparagus last night. I COOKED! That never happens. I gotta tell you, I don’t feel all that great. My body aches all the time, and I really want a bag of York Peppermint Patties. I heard someone say that peppermint candy tastes like toothpaste. I can’t get that idea out of my head. Now I brush my teeth ten times a day to try and trick myself into thinking I am eating Yorks. You know how those diet chocolate shakes try to taste like a real milkshake, but they are off the mark? Yaaa… that’s what the toothpaste is like. I do it anyway. Next week is my partner in crime and my oldest baby basset’s birthday. Yes, their birthdays are on the same day. That will be the day of much sin. It will all be worth it to eat a cake guilt free. I might even let them have some.
