I am getting a bit freaked out about the decorations for my kid’s school walk-a-thon. It’s a fundraiser for the school so I am trying to make everything as cheaply as possible, which means a lot of it is made out of cardboard. I have spent hours and hours working on giant characters and props to bring the game of Candyland to life for these kids, and I fear what could happen if it rains. Mind you, we have been in a drought for a number of years now and I think it rained about 12 days total last year, so I really shouldn’t worry. But I will, and I will be in this state of worry until Oct 10. Maybe I should start stock piling plastic food wrap.
