While driving my son home from school, he says to me, ” Mom, if your birthday present is a toy, can I play with it?” He then paused and sighed heavily and said,”Wait, grownups don’t get toys for their birthday” He seemed really sad about this fact and it just about broke my heart. It was like he was realizing that someday he would no longer get toys as presents. That night as I unwrapped my birthday present from the family, I watched as his eyes widened and a huge squeal burst from his mouth. It was the Lego Haunted House I have been drooling over for months. Thank you everyone for all the wonderful Birthday wishes yesterday. It was a wonderful day. Now off to my Legos.
