OKAY! WHAT..THE…HECK!!!! I have never seen the movie musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Last night a little video of the song Sobbin Women popped up and just for a giggle and weird curiosity I watched it. OH MY GOSH!!! They are singing joyfully about women being kidnapped and crying, but actually they are happy about it. How on Earth was everyone okay with this movie? I always pictured people in the 50’s being less outrageous. The movie has these guys kidnapping women, taking them up the mountain, blocking their way back and forcing them to marry them? AND THEY SING ABOUT THIS?? The creepy factor really kicks in when, with this new knowledge, you go back and look at all the movie posters. ICK!

Hi. I’m Mae West. No. Not the actress.
If you would’ve told me year ago that I was going to be broke and penniless after my husband took everyone to the cleaners after he pulled off one of the biggest Ponzi schemes, leaving me a run down campground, a set of camper keys, before he escaped prison and when the FBI came to the campground to see if I helped him escape, then the no good you know what floated up to the top of the lake in that campground making me the number one suspect, I’d said you were lying.

My grandmother has a saying: what’s done in the dark always comes to light, especially in small towns with big secrets. And I was hiding the biggest secret of them all.
Every summer I spent growing up at my grandparents’ coastal estate was the same. Same cousins. Same chaos. Same long golf cart rides along the beach.
But everything changed the summer I turned eighteen, when my grandparents’ new housekeeper moved in with her son, Riley. With his big personality and head-turning looks, he was the local heartthrob.
We fell in love instantly. Riley was my first everything. First love. First time.
And my first heartbreak when he dumped me at the end of the summer.
Ten years later, I’m back on the island for my best friend’s wedding as her maid of honor. Who’s the first person I literally stumble into?
Riley Dixon. Even worse? He’s the groom’s best man, and a self-made billionaire to boot.
Being forced to spend an entire week together for wedding festivities quickly leads to more: hot hate sex, late nights of sneaking out, and unexpected revelations. The boy I knew a decade ago is gone, and the hate becomes… something else entirely. And I begin to wonder if Riley is hiding some secrets of his own.

Her only anchor is Tommy, captain of the famous Lake Geneva Mailboat for the past fifty years, as reliable as the mail itself.
Delivering letters by boat in the Wisconsin resort town, Bailey’s learned that the occasional splash into the lake as she jumps to the piers is just part of her job. But discovering a dead body tied to a pier post is far from routine…
Bailey’s fears only grow when the police investigation spills over into her abusive foster home — threatening to take her away from Lake Geneva entirely. When it comes to the surface that Tommy has close ties to the chief suspect, his wounds from the past threaten to close him off from Bailey completely, snuffing out her last beacon of hope.
