EASTER IS IN MARCH???? That is less than a month away! The bulbs in my garden aren’t even close to ready! I haven’t put out one bit of Easter decorations. I am so far behind. Who is bringing the quiche? This is how I woke up this morning, and it didn’t feel good at all. Now that I have had my first cup of coffee, I can think straight enough to know that there really isn’t a huge emergency, and I can always buy quiche. Nothing to panic about. I really like decorating for Easter. Much less complicated than Halloween and Christmas. A few bunnies here and there, and three strategically placed store bought tulips complete the look. How is Easter not at the top of my holiday list?

In her final month of pregnancy, Susie uses her time on bed rest to relay tales of her life to her soon-to-be-born daughter, Britta.
Susie was fifteen years old when her mother passed away. Five years later, she learned that her paternity was a lie.
Motivated by the recent loss of a friend, Susie starts a journal with the hope that, in the unfortunate case of her own untimely passing, her precious daughter will not be forced to draw her own conclusions about her mother’s life.
Susie’s thoughts turn to the summer of 1999, when she was a fourteen-year-old outcast. As punishment, her father sends her to church camp where she encounters the boy who ruined her reputation with lies the previous summer. When he goes too far to get her attention, a twenty-three-year-old hero named Jerry Lyons steps in, sweeping Susie off her feet in the process.
After a few private talks in his cabin, Susie leaves camp desperately in love with Jerry, and hopeful that he will overlook her age and give her a chance to be more than his secret friend, but he soon breaks her heart.
Susie is distracted from her pain when she lands her first job, working alongside her mother, Priscilla. With her domineering father out of town, Susie gets closer to Priscilla and learns surprising new information about her.

Trusting Fate (Hope Falls: Brewed Awakenings Book 2)
by Melanie Shawn
(1,437 Reviews)
Genre: Romance
FREE for a limited time
For the first time in her life, Grace Wells had no idea what the future held. After being offered partner at the law firm she’d worked at for the past decade she surprised even herself when she handed in her resignation, packed up her life, put her condo up for sale, and jumped in her Range Rover to head for Hope Falls.
She was already questioning her sanity when she found herself stranded on the side of a mountain road, in a snowstorm, with a flat tire. Things went from bad to worse when headlights shone in her rearview mirror, and her first thought was a psycho was coming to kill her. When she rolled down the window and saw the face of the most perfect male specimen on the planet, she was no longer in fear for her life… but her heart was another story.
For the first time in his life, Easton Bishop knew exactly what the future held. After nearly fifteen years of nomadic living across the globe, he was finally putting down roots. His plan was to spend the next year of his life writing the novel he’d been putting off for the past three years, and more importantly, reconnecting with his family who he’d barely seen over the past decade and a half. That plan was immediately sidetracked when he showed up to surprise his parents only to find out they were on a three-week vacation in Palm Springs.
Always one to roll with the punches, he hopped in his 1989 Ford pickup truck and decided to make the three-hour drive to Hope Falls where his brothers lived. He found himself sidetracked once again when he saw a white SUV on the side of the road with its hazards on. When the driver turned out to be a knockout blonde with eyes bluer than the Mediterranean and lips that made him sweat in below-freezing temperatures, he knew that his plans might need to be expanded to include her.
