I can sense he is near, and with him comes anxiety. Our Elf on The Shelf is due back in our house on December first. He is quite a little rascal and looking for him every morning is a fun little game for the kids. Our elf isn’t quite so clever like some elves I have seen on Facebook. Ours just moves from spot to spot in the house. None of this fishing for goldfish crackers in the sink or making a huge mess with the flour in the kitchen. Which is fortunate for our elf because he would get an eviction notice pretty darn quick if he started any of those shenanigans.

For the son of a Dragonslayer, duty is life and death.
Nicole Simmons has come out of hiding and reinvented herself as a rookie cop. She doubts her choice when she is assigned to a training officer destined to be her archenemy. She should kill him and disappear. Keith Marin takes a tough street girl under his protection, shielding her from a strange jar with a preternatural magnetism. He begins a dangerous contest with the sorcerer who has found his way to Blue Point and discovers people from all walks of life becoming slaves to the soul jars. When two homeless layabouts on his beat turn up driving a BMW, wearing tailored silk suits, and carrying serious firepower, Marin takes his investigation to the next level.
Dragon Badge is the first novel in a trilogy spanning two worlds — one of imperfect law and another of chaos and magic. Action, suspense, and horror make this a dark urban fantasy like no other.

In the Magician’s House (You Say Which Way Book 1)
D M Potter
(27 Reviews)
Genre: Children’s eBooks
FREE for a limited time
Watch your step, this book doesn’t play straight! Neither does the Magician’s house – rooms move around. If you’re the sort of person who needs predictability then pick up another book, curl up and enjoy it. This book won’t mind. But if you’d like to take an active part in a book then stick around. You might be just the reader it has been waiting for.
Dreams swirl around in the Magician’s house like dust in the corners of other houses. Little stories get stuck in the crannies. Just for a moment, while you are sweeping, you can find yourself running across a green field, steering an iron horse through twisty roads, or picking ripe strawberries in a bright, warm field. Other times you are transported to different places, so you watch where you step. Some mornings, just getting to breakfast is an adventure.
