Is it weird to be mad at your pumpkins? I keep looking for the female blooms to open up on the vine so I can manually fertilize it with the male stems. Wow.. is this post still G rated, or did I just kick it up a notch? Anywho… The female blooms never open. Ever! I have prudish pumpkins. Maybe I should just have faith in the bees. I see them there in the mornings, so maybe I am just missing the open blooms because the bees are so efficient. I honestly don’t know why I am so worried about it. I can buy pumpkins at the grocery store for $5. Deep breaths…deep breaths.
