I got the best compliment yesterday and I am still glowing from it. Did someone say I was pretty? Nope. Did someone say I look like I lost weight or my car is awesome? Nope nope. In my younger days those things would have been the most important to me.  Would be cool if it happened, but I was super thrilled when a landscape architect told me he loved the landscaping of my front yard! OH…MY…GOSH!!! (Grabs golden award from thin air and walks up to podium) I would just like to thank my hubby for supporting and believing in me. Yes, it means that much to me. He asked if I noticed any wildlife enjoying it and I went on for twenty minutes about lizards, salamanders, preying mantis, birds, and so many other little critters. He actually seems to be enjoying the conversation and did not do that slow walk away. Such a nice conversation.

Awesomely Cheap Chicken Meals: Eating well on next to no money (Budget Cookbooks Book 2)
by Terry Blake
4.3 Stars (164 Reviews)

FREE for a limited time

This is the 2nd book in the series, the first one was Budget School Holiday Meals. Written to help poverty line/bread line families, students on budgets, anyone who needs help eating well but living cheaply. Having been there myself I know how hard it is to make ends meet, to know what to cook to keep you and especially your children fed and full. Knowing that up to 3 MILLION children go hungry in school holidays in the UK alone prompted me to write my first book and then follow it up with this one. They are small books, cheap and cheerful but hopefully in some small way I can help families and individuals. There will be other books in the series, but as a housewife and mum on a budget it takes me time to get them together.
