I just got this overwhelming feeling that I am ready for Spring. It’s coming up soon right? Couple of weeks maybe? Maybe I should cut back on watching so many gardening videos. My yard is torn up, so I can’t really do anything in the garden, and it is driving me nuts. I haven been able to buy a plant in months. That really hurts me, so I have been spending twice as much time at the thrift store. Thankfully I sell most of that stuff off, so the piles aren’t so bad. Man… I wish I would feel the same rush I get from buying plants or thrifting, for weightlifting or running. You know what I should do? I should get hypnotized into liking exercise and eating healthy. I’m pretty sure my brain is easy to mold. I always fall for those infomercials.
The Tesla Secret, Book 1
by Mike Wells

FREE for a limited time
When a Stanford University physicist is kidnapped and whisked away to a top-secret research facility near Moscow, he finds that a Russian oligarch has developed a “free energy” machine based on the lost work of Nikola Tesla. There, he is forced to finish developing the earthshaking invention. If perfected, the machine will provide unlimited, pollution-free electrical energy extracted from the earth’s very atmosphere. In so doing, it would make the oil, gas and alternative energy industries obsolete. It could also solve the world’s problems with poverty and perhaps even climate change.
Torn between his scientific ego and the fact that people driven by profit alone are in control of technology that has such monumental humanitarian potential, the professor reluctantly begins to help with the project. Working side-by-side with him is a beautiful woman from Tajikistan who has special knowledge related to the device’s operation and is also being held against her will. The professor soon develops feelings for her, and they both try to escape, which takes them on a harrowing chase through Moscow. The two are relentlessly pursued not only by the Russian oligarch and his henchmen, but by an oil industry cartel who will stop at nothing to keep the disruptive technology hidden from the world.

My brother’s best friend is in love with me.
Or so he says.
Fortunately, even with only 15% of workable eyesight, I can see right through his irritating charms. He may have fooled our coworkers, family, and friends with his nonsense, but he can’t fool me.
Unfortunately, when our CEO condones the organization of a 30-day mandatory Valentine event, I’m stuck with William Ivan Delimar Hart — a man who bedazzles walkie talkies and calls our boss twinsie.
Somehow this is the man that’s going to help me keep my job.
As much as I don’t like it, the math is simple: either I rely on Will, or I face professional death.
Let Operation Countdown to Valentine’s Day begin.
Unwillfully Tied to My Valentine is a closed-door romantic comedy with plenty of swoon and sizzle, but none of the spice. Welcome to the second novel in the EverStorm universe, featuring disability rep, office romance, and forced proximity.
