The cold weather did very little to slow down the people in my neighborhood from setting up their Christmas displays in their front yards. I was getting a bit worried when I didn’t see a lot going up the weekend before. It seems though, that all those leftovers from Thanksgiving gave them the burst of energy they needed. It’s always around this time of year when I find the most neighbors up on the roof. My absolute love for Christmas is not enough to get me on the roof to put up decorations. I have been up there numerous times, and it scares the padoodle out of me. Nope. My reindeer can just sit on the ground thank you very much. I only have a few more things to add to my decor and then I can sit back, relax, and go to work. Wait? What? Eww.. work.

Feeling estranged from friends and at odds with her parents, she is searching for “something more.” With keen interest in the freedom that the women’s right to vote should have brought, she studies the stock market and plans to attend school. WORLDS ARE WAITING TO BE OPENED.
Van Holloway wanted one thing: survive a Christmas party without looking like a total disaster. Instead, he got dragged into a virtual game that came with glasses that weren’t glasses and rules that weren’t rules.
Oops.
Turns out there’s a world inside the glasses. A place of clockwork toys, abandoned workshops, and secrets nobody ever meant to unwrap. Van and Charli (yes, the crush, yes, awkward) stumble out of the game with more than they bargained for. And something… stumbles out after them.
Now reality’s misfiring like cheap Christmas lights. Something really wants back what they accidentally took from the game.
From droids in Santa suits to gingerbread rebels with attitude, Van and Charli are stuck in a war between belief and machinery, myth and madness. To make it home alive, they’ll have to trust each other, cling to what’s real, and take on the one enemy stronger than magic itself: doubt.
Christmas Presence: The Prequel launches the Claus Universe with sci-fi sparkle, fantasy mayhem, and enough heart to melt the North Pole. Perfect for fans of Stranger Things, The Santa Clause, and Ready Player One.
