I am still waiting to see if they forgive me for abandoning them at the vets for the WHOLE day yesterday. Hmm… would a day in human time be a full week in dog time? I really hope not. Both Junebug and Casper needed dentals and I was so afraid that they would come back with missing teeth, sore mouths and a whole lot of hurt and resentment towards me. Thankfully no teeth were pulled. I am going to call that a Halloween miracle. This morning they seem to be fine and right back into their normal routine of being crazy little dogs. I honestly don’t think I felt this guilty when I took my baby bassets to the dentist when they were kids. Thankfully they are grown now and can drive themselves to the dentist. I think a few extra treats for the pups this morning should do the trick.

On the way south, a crew of truck thieves tracks his every move. But none of them know what Charlie’s ex has smuggled inside the book pallets, who he stole it from, or how far the owner will go to get it back. Charlie’s the first person Yeager has cared about in a long time, but as their bond deepens, so does the danger they’re in.

With enemy forces closing in, Yeager battles greed, corruption, and his own fatalism in a bid to hold true to Yeager’s First Law: come home at the end of the day.

4.6 Stars (570 Reviews)

FREE for a limited time

After taking command of a carrier strike group deployed to the Mediterranean, Greek and Turkish tensions reach the boiling point when ships are lost under mysterious circumstances. With Flip’s strike group in the region, Russia flexes its muscle, first with airpower, then with a naval deployment the volume of which the world had not seen since the Russo-Japanese War to deny the West use of the North Atlantic. Tasked by Washington to confront the onslaught, Flip must maneuver his forces to avoid detection and be in position to strike first when the order comes. When overhead sensors are denied, the action reverts to a traditional detect-to-engage slugfest in three-domains, a high-end fight at sea between two nuclear-armed navies that holds Europe and North America at risk.
