The problem is the hedge trimmer is just too much fun to use. I only meant to cut a straight edge on the shrub so that people could get out of the car on the passengers side without getting poked and scratched by the branches. Maybe it was the awesome noise the battery powered trimmer made, or maybe it was the fact that it cut through every branch like butter. I dunno, but I didn’t stop until there were only a few twigs sticking out of the ground. After that I turned my sights to the Star Jasmin that was getting a little too out of control. I had already filled our yard waste bin, as well as a neighbors, so I really didn’t have a plan for the huge mess I made. Thankfully my neighbor has two bins and I was able to use that one as well. People joke about men and their toys, but I get it. I really really get it.
