Let me see if I can recall what happened last Saturday with any accuracy. My memory is a bit blurry. The beer garden here in town was having their anniversary celebration with food trucks and live music. It’s a place that people of all ages go to. You even have parents bringing their kids and letting them run around in the grass. I have been known to stay until closing time. Mind you last call is 9pm. HA! Anywhoo. My friend and I were walking out of the bathroom and I made a comment about how nice it was that my son was going to pick hubby and I up. I didn’t hear the comment the twenty something year old made, but my friend turned to me and said, ” He just called you old!” I looked at him and you could see he knew he was rude, and he felt bad he said it. I took one look at him and said, “HECK YA I AM!! AND IT GREAT OVER HEAR!” I went on to point out that I was in my Star Wars crocks, skull cardigan, messy hair, and at beer garden with a free ride home from my kid. OLD IS AWESOME! He busted up laughing and said I was his new hero and gave me the biggest hug. We carried on joking and laughing for a few more minutes and then went back to our groups. It felt really nice to own my age. I could very easily had let a comment the just slipped out of a young man bother me, but instead I owned all of it. It felt good and both of us got a great laugh out of it.

MATTHEW AND WILMA Mason, a married couple from San Francisco on a driving tour of southwest national parks, are found shot to death in the remote and rugged backcountry of southeast Utah. A revolver clutched in Matthew’s hand suggests a murder-suicide, but Deputy Sheriff Manny Rivera thinks otherwise. In his mind, there are too many unanswered questions. Why had the Masons, at age 68, detoured from the planned vacation route shown on their map? Why had they left the comfort of paved roads for rough, gravel back roads that led to nowhere in particular? Why had they driven to the place where they were found, next to an abandoned grass airstrip? And most peculiar of all, why were they dressed like hippies from the 1960s?

How to Fake Date Your Grumpy Boss (How to Rom-com Book 1)
by Camilla Evergreen
(653 Reviews)

Why did I think it was a good idea to ask my hot, grumpy boss to fake date?
Maybe because I’m clumsier with social interactions than I am with staying upright? Maybe because my parents will disown me if they see the pictures paparazzi took after I fell on him then learn we aren’t in a “committed relationship”?
Whatever the reason, he wasn’t supposed to agree so easily or be so… cordial.
Levi Danner, Billionaire CEO of Leopard Co., has a reputation for being disagreeable, nitpicky, and coarse. He does not have a reputation for buying poor college students lunch or taking them on bookstore dates.
I’m struggling to find the line between professional and personal — on top of navigating my parents’ overbearing concerns.
So when an unexpected turn of events requires us to share a bed — and maybe a few cuddles — that line might vanish completely.
How to Fake Date Your Grumpy Boss is a swoony, closed-door romantic comedy. Expect mild language, suggestive jokes, chemistry, and tension without any explicit scenes. Please reference the reader expectations after the title page for specific details.
