My oldest baby basset is graduating from High School on Friday. Everyone is posting about how excited they are, how time has flown by so quick, and they miss the times when their kids were small. Meanwhile I am over here thinking about the two cakes I ordered for his graduation dinner. Do I start with the chocolate one because there is a chance I will only get one piece? But I really don’t want to miss out on the carrot cake. Can I have both at the same time? If I cut the cakes myself, which I hate doing, I can then offer everyone one piece of each at the same time. BUT… that would also mean I would have less leftover for me afterwards when I am sitting on the couch in my stretchy pants. I hate when people say they want two pieces and then don’t finish it. That could have been mine. I better decide quick.

The sensational follow-up to THE MOSES LEGACY

A thriller that challenges everything you think you know about the “New World Order”.

A night-time intruder at an archaeological dig site in England finds a parchment written in Hebrew script. Thousands of miles away, Semitic language expert Daniel Klein (fresh from his brush with a dangerous American sect) receives a blurred image on his mobile phone. But when he goes to meet the sender and old nemesis – a fraudster called Martin I. Costa – he realizes that he has walked into an ambush.

Accused of murder, Daniel finds himself on the run, pursued not only by the police but also by a small but ruthless sect of anti-Zionist,ultra-orthodox Jews (Shomrei Ha’ir) led by the fanatical Shalom Tikva. And they are determined to silence him. With the help of a wise and eccentric Cambridge Professor of Archaeology and a beautiful Irish-Israeli Mossad officer, Daniel follows a trail of clues that takes him from the uprising of Boudicca to modern Rome to Massada – the site of an ancient siege and battle – in a quest for the link between two of the Roman empire’s most troublesome opponents: the ancient Britons and the Judeans. All the while, they are barely one step ahead of Bar-Tikva, the physically strong but feeble-minded son of the leader of the ruthless Shomrei Ha’ir. And both father and son are hell-bent on murder.

I’m Holly Parker, and on my fiftieth birthday I decided that it was about time I stopped adding things to my bucket list and started trying to cross a few items off instead. Visiting all fifty states was at the top of the list. I just had to find a cheap flight to somewhere interesting.

A low-cost, direct flight to Las Vegas was exactly what I needed. I didn’t waste my time overthinking it. I just booked the flight and packed my bags. After chatting with the couple in the seats next to mine on the flight, I was happy to arrive in Vegas and just go straight to bed.

My body clock, not yet reset to Vegas time, had me awake and eager to explore very early the next morning. I’d barely finished my breakfast, though, before I stumbled over a dead body. What are the odds that the victim would turn out to be the man I’d sat next to on my flight? Why is his former fiancée suddenly trying to be my best friend? And how do I convince the local police that I had nothing to do with his murder?
