Temptation!!! We had to be strong. We had to FIGHT!! The temptation was strong, but so far we have prevailed. So far. Ask me how it’s going in about an hour and it could all change. Hubby and I went to See’s Candy last night to pick up a few Christmas gifts. I knew it would be hard for us, since we are trying to lose a few pounds before a wedding this Saturday. Our clothes for the wedding are a bit snug. We spent a good ten minutes individually picking out the candy for each box, drooling over every single piece. They lady behind the counter offered to give us a sample, but we politely declined. We were going to be good. After we were done she offered us samples again. We decided a few samples for the baby bassets would be nice. She bagged up four pieces. UGH!! One for each of us. TEMPTATION!! We thanked her for being so generous as we paid for the two delicious boxes of candy. That’s when she reached under the counter and pulled out a huge handful of chocolates and filled up our bag. OH MY GOSH!!!!! My eyes nearly popped out of my head. I think I drooled a bit. I refuse to open the bag. If I take one look at the treasure inside I am sure I will break. Be strong.
