For a person who HATES painting, I sure seem to be volunteering to do it a bunch. I told hubby I was not going to paint the boards he needed for the new lights on the house. So what did I do when he put the boards on the saw horses for painting? I painted them. Did he ask me to? No. While I was at it I painted the front of the house in 100 degree weather. Did anyone ask me to? NOPE! Now I am eyeing the living room. It desperately needs to be painted. I am going to start that project this week. WHY?? No one asked me to do any of this, but for some reason I feel like punishing myself with my most hated task. Oh, I know why. It’s because it gives the biggest reward when you’re done. UGH! I will be telling the family every chance I get that I painted the living room and they must go admire it. That will go on for about a week. Maybe two.
