Evil has descended upon our kitchen. I have always FORBID hubby to get a toaster oven. Honestly I can’t remember why. It might be that we just don’t have a lot of counter space, and I just don’t like gadgets cluttering up the space. Hubby said it’s not a toaster oven, but an air fry oven. Hmmph! Looks like a toaster oven. He wooed me with promises of crispy french fries and pizza bagels. I do love extra crispy fries. It also dehydrates food. Now that is intriguing to me. I still think it’s evil and I am saving the box. If I don’t find extra crispy hash browns on my plate this week we will need to have a talk.

Residents agree that this is the best rodeo in the county’s history. That is until a cowboy is killed during one of the last bronc riding events of the weekend. When local law enforcement rules the unfortunate incident an accident, the once happy celebration comes to a sad end. Theo thinks she’s seen the last of the rodeo until she’s asked to do some more digging around. The dead man just happens to be the rodeo queen’s younger brother, and she’s not at all convinced his death was an accident.
