Poor hubby was working on the shower all morning yesterday. Multiple trips to the hardware store and a lot of cursing later, we still don’t have a shower. It should be a simple fix, but things in an RV are never simple. They always gotta be just a wee bit different. GRRRR. We didn’t actually leave the campsite until 1pm or so. I was pretty darn cranky, but as soon as we got into Leavenworth the issue with the shower faded away. What a delightful town. The Bavarian style buildings and the pedestrian only streets made for an easy stroll around town. It was extremely hot out, so we stopped for lemonade and sat in a covered patio that had misters going. I was worried for a while that we would not be able to ride the mountain roller coaster due to it being closed for maintenance until July 21. The day before we were in town. Thankfully it was open and we were able to experience it. Was it a $20 per person thrill? Hmmm… maybe. It was fun and I am glad we did it. A bit short, but fun. The view on the coaster was amazing. I am glad I payed attention and made the effort to look around and not just freak out the whole ride. Everyone else was quiet riding down the rail, and I was squeaking the whole way. No chill at all.
