I love watching home design, cooking, fashion, and makeup videos on YouTube. I could watch them all day given the chance. But what I won’t do is redecorate my home, cook a meal, try to dress nice, or even wear makeup. I have acquired a lot of knowledge on those subjects, but I have absolutely no desire to use any of that knowledge. On the other hand I have a favorite gardening show that I watch on the weekends. I can only take about an hour of that show, once a week. After an hour I must run out in the garden and try some of the great ideas I got from the show that week. I wish I could only stand an hour of health and exercise shows once a week. That would be nice.

It’s 2035. Beta, a young Austrian scientist, seeks a cure for her only remaining family member, her disabled brother. She understands she his only hope. After being handed an old recipe for creating life, she accepts an invitation from a mysterious group to join other researchers at an arctic station in Nunavut, Canada. At the station, the team reveal their specialties and find themselves connected in an experiment to restore the spirit of a man who has been dead for two centuries. The experiment soon spins out of control and a horrific sequence of events and personal discoveries erupt within the isolated research station. Break the Sky: Archer & Kelsey (Starting Over Book 1)
by Nina Lane
(632 Reviews)
Genre: Contemporary Fiction | Women’s Fiction
FREE for a limited time
I chase tornadoes — literally. And being a female scientist in my field means I need to be on my game at all times. Unshakable. Serious. Yes, even a little bitchy. The last thing I expect is a hot, intense biker like Archer West blazing into town and wanting a wild and reckless fling withme.
Thanks to my not-so-squeaky past, I can’t afford any missteps at this point in my career. Translation: I have to keep the hell away from charming, dirty-talking, bad boy rebels like him. Not just because he’s an irresistible temptation, but also because he’s the estranged brother of a colleague.
Unfortunately, it becomes abundantly clear the stubborn man has no intention of giving up, even if that means following me right into the eye of a storm. And while he may just be the only human on earth who seems to get me, he’s also the only one capable of making me lose control.
I’m not actually sure which terrifies me more… or what’ll break me first.
