Last Thursday we had a dog behaviorist come in to our home and work with us on Rosey and Junebugs aggression towards each other. Unfortunately for me it was pointed out that I was the problem. I was too high strung, anxious, and “A Spaz”. Ouch. That hurt, but sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and admit when you are wrong. And I did. My gosh! What a huge difference just a few little changes made. I have been able to take Casper for walks without him freaking out and barking the entire walk, Junebug and Rosey have not gotten into any fights, and the extra bonus is they stopped barking at the dogs on TV! I am not even sure how that one happened, but I love it. All of that makes it so worth having a stranger call me a spaz. Call me whatever you want, just let me walk with my dogs in peace! Obviously we have a lot of work to do, and we have a long road of training ahead of us, but gosh darn it… I love it!
