I am so disappointed. I bought a lazy fish. He has one job, and that’s to clean the glass in the tank. It’s been four days and he hasn’t cleaned anything! Well, nothing that I notice. I see him hanging out on the tank decorations that are painted to look like they are moss covered. I actually have no idea if they covered in algea or not. Doesn’t matter! He needs to get to work on the glass. It looks gross. I am going to draw a few pictures of a fish cleaning glass and is happy, as well as a fish not cleaning glass and being fed to a cat. I will stick that to the side of the tank and see if he gets the picture. I don’t have a cat, but I’m sure that can be arranged.
A Mandate for Murder: A Senior GSS Officer Sheds Light on the Political Assassination That Shook the Middle East
by Hezi Kalo
(8 Reviews)
Genre: Foreign Languages | Politics & Social Sciences | History | Biographies & Memoirs
FREE for a limited time
The story of one of the most shocking political assassinations of the modern age, told for the first time through the intelligence reports that predated – and predicted – the violence to come.
On November 4th, 1995, decades of fierce political conflict culminated in the violent assassination of Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin.
As the shock subsided and a nation mourned, hard questions began to surface – questions like how could this happen? Why? And perhaps most importantly – could it have been prevented?
For the first time, a troubling story of institutional incitement and deliberate escalation is revealed by a senior Israeli GSS officer who feared the worst – and was powerless to stop it.
Through detailed intelligence reports, pointed warnings and misleading information, former head of the GSS non-Arab subversion and espionage division Hezi Kalo unravels the years of anger and hatred that bred a remorseless killer, and the false sense of security that paved the way to tragedy.

(722 Reviews)
Genre: Romance | Fantasy
FREE for a limited time
You know what’s annoying? Having your first real date interrupted by a werewolf and a hellhound.
I’ve lived a pretty boring, secluded life, hiding amongst humans on the outskirts of a small town. But when the demons I’ve heard stories about show up at my front door, everything changes. Suddenly, I have to trade in my quiet life for a whole new world filled with violence, secrets, and magic.
As if enrolling in The Guild wasn’t difficult enough, I’m forced to work with a team of mysterious protectors who think I’m as repulsive as the demons they’re training me to kill. They don’t seem to want me around, but I can’t deny that something beyond my control is drawing us together — even when I try to escape them, I just get pulled closer into their orbit.
Icing on the cake? For some reason, the demons I’m supposed to be hunting down are coming after me instead. Nothing about this new life is at all like how I thought it would be. If I can’t figure out who to trust and fast, I’m screwed.
Academy of Protectors is the first book in The Protector Guild series, so there will be a cliffhanger. Max’s story is a slow-burn, urban fantasy series. She will end up with multiple partners and one is a woman. Get ready for action, spice, and intrigue.
