I am pretty darn thankful that I can consider my thrifting hobby/addiction as a separate thing from everyday shopping. Since I sell a lot of the items I find treasure hunting, I can always use the money from sales to buy a few treasures for me. It’s great to have a hobby that for the most part pays for itself. I certainly can’t say that about beekeeping. My partner in crime and I are still on a bit of a break from that. I’m not saying we are done with it. We are just on a break! I was thrilled last weekend when I discovered a new thrift store. I was doubly thrilled when I learned that proceeds go towards the local animal shelter. WIN WIN!! The good and the bad are they are only open on Saturdays. Good, because I can’t go every day. Bad because I can’t go every day. My first trip there was a great success. I found the cutest Christmas decorations! Just thinking about it makes me want to go to a thrift store right now. ERG!
