I have discovered a new type of plant. So far I have found two of them at the local nurseries. They are the “Plant Me and Never Touch Me Again Plant” The first one is called the Pincushion Carnival and the instructions say it loves being in poor soil, rarely ever getting watered, and NEVER fertilize it. How did they know my plant care routine??? I am getting better, but in reality only the strong survive in my yard. If it weren’t for the automatic watering system, nothing would live. The second plant is Echium wildpretil: Tower of Jewels. It grows to 8 feet tall and never wants to be watered. Um.. yes please. The bees also LOVE it. Right now he is only about 6 inches tall, but I am going to take pictures weekly to track his progress.
