It always sounds like such a brilliant idea to buy a bunch of bulbs in the Fall so I can have a brilliant display in the Spring. This year I bought around 150 different bulbs consisting of tulips, daffodils, crocus, and a few new alliums. I am halfway through getting them in the ground, and my back is TOAST! I am pretty sure I could have gotten by just fine with 20 bulbs. That would have been pretty spiffy. NOPE… I went crazy and bought 150. Break time is over… back outside in the rain I go. ERG!
