The problem with working from home is the constant interruptions. Unfortunately for hubby I just can’t help myself. I get an idea stuck in my head and I just can’t stop myself from bugging him and asking questions. Lucky for both of us, he helped me out with a few of my projects last night and I have plenty I can do on my own while I wait for him to be on lunch or after work. I added two more zombies to my front yard Halloween display, and together we made a few Halloween lanterns that I will be able to assemble today by myself. I am not really sure what I am going to do about my front yard Halloween display this year though. Last year the plants I had planted were small, so I had plenty of space for the zombies and witch. This year the plants are huge and almost crowding each other out. I might pull a few out that I don’t like. This question is going to bug the heck out of me for the next fifteen or so days. I can’t put up Halloween decorations until at least the first of October. I hate waiting!

Thirty-five years of peace. One vicious attack destroys it all.
Reservist Lieutenant Justin Spencer loves every minute of flying fighters through space during his annual two-week tour with the Coalition Defense Force. The job back home isn’t nearly as thrilling as blowing up asteroids with the squadron under his command, but it keeps him close to his wife and daughter. After all, joining the CDF was only for the free education. Justin never expected a battle, much less a war.
With one shot across his cockpit, peacetime fades into memory.
An unexpected enemy emerges with overwhelming force designed to obliterate the Terran Coalition. The League of Sol has a different name, but it’s the same communist regime that chased away much of Earth’s population hundreds of years ago.
Illusions of returning home are shattered in a single instant. Simulated battles become all too real, and it’s full-on engagement or permanent elimination. Death and destruction erupt across the Terran Coalition and leave Justin in a protracted war with only one truth remaining.
The battlefield will leave no one unscathed.

Since then, his research has focused on the experience of patients living with cancers. His first book is based on interviews he did with 39 patients who live, like him, with advanced illness. He explored how these patients find meaning, cope, and build resilience. Using his deep understanding of philosophical concepts, Morhaf shares his understanding of love from the perspective of someone aware of his finitude.
