It’s probably going to take me a full week to recover, but my attic purge/clean out is finally done (ish). I spent all last week dragging most everything out of the attic, and went through each and every items determining if it was an item worth saving. I had to be hardcore honest with myself and it wasn’t easy. Was I hanging onto the item for a “Just in case” event that may never happen? Or maybe Iwas hanging on to it our of guilt or obligation. Most of the items fit those categories and I was able to clear out a lot of clutter. Now the attic is organized with things that make sense to keep. Physically I am completely drained, but mentally I really do feel so much better. I had the garage sale on Saturday, but it wasn’t too successful, so by 3pm the rest of the stuff was free, and it went quick after that. Today I am going to donate the leftover items. This Monday morning really does feel like a fresh start. So when do I get to rest?
