I think it is time for me to join the local bee club. I really didn’t want to join a club. I always feel such a nervousness about talking to strangers. I get so nervous I end up talking way too much and telling them embarrassing facts about myself. What is even worse is the local bee club would want me to volunteer, and that means talking to even more strangers and telling them more than they would ever want to know about me. UGH. The problem is my partner in crime are just not successful beekeepers. We had eleven colonies, in varying sizes in Spring, and after yesterday’s hive checks we have only four, and they are very weak. I doubt they will make it through winter. One thing I think was a huge factor was the smoke from all the fires, and the air quality around here has been so bad. We need a new plan, and we need help. Well… I guess a whole new group of people are going to find out some strange facts about me.
