I have a hangover. UGH. I so wish it was a hangover from a wild night out, but it’s not. It’s a lemon curd hangover. No one told me that when you get older you can get hangovers from eating sugar too late in the evening. Meaning 7:30…OH NOOO!! 7:30 AT NIGHT!!??? OH YOU CRAZY GIRL! It was another obligatory dessert, so it’s not like I keep falling off the diet wagon out of a lack of self control. My youngest basset, along with the pumpkin pie, made lemon curd. HOLY MOTHER! That stuff was sour. Sooo sour. My whole face was in a fierce pucker for an hour after I ate it. I split it four ways so everyone in the family could enjoy it. The whole family had puckered up faces. It was tasty, but umm… wow. My face is starting to pucker again just thinking about it. I better stop thinking about it or my face with stay like this forever. Next time maybe I will have vanilla ice cream on hand.
