It took us almost two weeks to come up with a plan for the backyard. Nothing was working for us and it was driving me nuts. I finally had all the freedom in the world to do whatever I wanted with the yard, and I had nothing going on in my brain. Some of you have already seen this picture on the Facebook news feed, but here it is again. There will be a raised bed on the far right with 3 citrus trees, a flower bed below that, then a path going to the back of the yard, and on the far left another flower bed. In the back you can see the short wall around the tree that will have the shade garden. Yup, we are keeping the tree. We threatened to kill it a couple of times, but have decide it can stay for now. The rounded section off the desk is going to be the little patio with a small table and two chairs. Of course now that I have a plan we have huge storms coming through and flooding all over the county. Right now my yard is just lakes and mud. Thankfully my pavers marking the new beds won’t float away.
