At this point for medical reasons I need to get another dog for Junebug to play with. I was talking on the phone yesterday and my cat Sinny and pup Junbug were playing around, having a bit of fun, when I look over to see a scene so horrific I just started screaming. The poor person on the other end of the telephone line must have thought a murderer or cake thief barged into the house. Both equally bad. No, neither of those two came in. I looked over to find my cats claw stuck in my pups eye lid, and he was pulling it away from her head. I just gagged thinking about it. OH MY GOSH!! How was my pup not screaming? Maybe she was, but I was screaming louder. AWFUL! I grabbed both of them and disconnected the claw from the eyelid. Let me just say that again…disconnected…. (shaking violently). BLEGH! Oddly, Junebug didn’t seem all that upset and her eye was fine. I was not. I put her in her crate with a chewy and she happily went to work on that. I spent the next hour under a blanket eating chocolate wafers. BLEGH!!!
