Well… would you believe it? I don’t think my little chickie Iggy is sick. I think she is ….what is the nicest word for it….Ugh…she is a wimp. I have been keeping a close eye on her, and making sure the other baby chickies don’t hurt her, and I noticed that anytime they even bump her a little getting to food or just about anything, she turns, and what I can only describe as pouts. She eats just fine, drinks like a normal chickie, as long as I spoon feed her. this does present a whole different problem. When she is much bigger and moves in with the other ladies, she will need to be more assertive getting food. Maybe I should put up little inspirational posters in her pen. Give her a bit of a boost.

Even if they were barely “getting by” by the real world’s standards, they were getting by together. And finding any excuse to dress in costume. It doesn’t matter whether you live in New York City or Lubbock, Texas when you have these kinds of friends. And sometimes these friends you haven’t met yet are at the house just up the street.
