You never appreciate what you have until it’s lost. I think that’s what my pup Jethro was thinking yesterday when I took my kitty Sinny to the vet to spend the day getting tests done for his diabetes. I blamed his sullen behavior on the muggy weather, and I was starting to worry in the late afternoon when he was having trouble just getting up and walking. The thing is, he always growls when Sinny walks up to him and sniffs his nose or plops himself down next to him for a nap. He gets all tense when Sinny tries to push him out of the sunny spot on the carpet in the middle of the afternoon. Jethro gave himself away yesterday when at I brought Sinny home from the vet at 6:30. He jumped up as soon as he saw Sinny walk in and it was happy greetings and sniffs for a good five minutes. You gave yourself away Jethro. You will never fool me again.
