Hubby finally noticed I cleaned out his junk drawer. He was sitting right next to it when I went searching for a pencil. He looked inside and and commented on how organized it looked, then he got a little concerned and asked where all his stuff went. I two choices at that moment. I could go with what you guys suggested and act like I had done it weeks ago and say the stuff must not have been all that important if he is just now noticing, or I can avoid the question all together and run. I went the latter route. I looked him straight in the eye and asked him if he would like to make paper flowers with me for the kid’s school play. He naturally took the flight response on that one. I played that perfectly if I say so myself.
