I was joking the other day when I said I hope the fireworks make Jackie lay an egg. Did I ever actually thing all the banging would scare an egg out of her? No. But as the kids were running around the backyard and the booms of fireworks fill the town, Jackie lay an egg right in the middle of the chicken run. For the record, I had been keeping an eye on my pets to be sure they were not getting stressed out by all the noise the whole night and they were all fine and acting normal. This morning I had a delicious egg for breakfast.

We are all consumers and we are all consumed.
Volume 1 of the Consumed series features four uniquely satirical tales of depravity and horror centered around the dark underbelly of the American dream. Fanaticism, avarice, poverty, and the mainstream media are all skewered through the lens of hardcore horror in a vicious look at a consumer society gone horribly wrong.
Hunger comes in many forms – mutations, murder, artificial intelligence and possibly even the end-times – and for the characters featured in Consumed, it heralds pain, torment, bloodshed and unimaginable horror.
Volume 1 includes;
- Special Delivery – A working class delivery boy finds out that the rich have very unique tastes…
- Shopping – What’s a mutant, hill-dwelling, cannibalistic maniac to do, when his natural food supply runs short…?
- Kentucky Fried – A relationship goes up in hellish flames, along with the rest of the planet…
- Television Eye – A good ole boy begins to question the information being transmitted via the media, and the media begins to question back…
