I think it is funny that I am choosing to go on vacation on a boat. I have gotten sea sick on boats that were cemented into the harbor. I don’t discriminate either. It could be a row boat, speed boat, bath toy boat, ANY boat. Pictures of boats make me queazy and after having written the word boat exactly seven times I am starting to feel a little green. BUT!!! No critters to eat me in the dark of the morning while sitting on a picnic bench, alone searching for books.

In spite of growing up immersed in the safety of her family and their rich culture, Jill Zannos doesn’t fit in. A Detroit homicide detective, she manages to keep one foot planted firmly in the traditions started by her grandparents, while the other navigates
the most devastated neighborhoods in the city she can’t help but love. She is a no nonsense workaholic with no girlfriends, an odd boyfriend who refuses to grow up, and an uncanny intuition, inherited from her mystic grandmother that acts as her secret weapon to crime solving success. Her story winds around tales of her family and their secret laden history, while she investigates the most despicable murder of her career.
The Greeks of Beaubien Street is a modern tale of a family grounded in old world, sometimes archaic, tradition as they seek acceptance in American society. They could be any nationality, but they are Greek.

In 1888, two brothers, Jack, a criminal recluse, and John, a society gentleman, live in opposite ends of Victorian London. When John falls in love, unspoken bonds are tested, unwittingly exposing secrets guarded since his childhood.
Horrified by links to London’s underworld, and appalled by the extent of his brother’s jealousy, John soon realises that these secrets not only affect his past, but also threaten to affect his future.
The Watcher is constructed around facts of the Jack the Ripper case, incorporating popular myths and theories. Through fiction, it examines the Jack the Ripper murders in a way that has never before been explored.
Why did Jack the Ripper commit such terrible crimes? What might have made him into such a monster? Why did the murders start then just as swiftly end?
This is a different type of Jack the Ripper story, not a ‘whodunnit’, but rather, a ‘why’ they ‘dunnit’.
