Date night sounds kinda corny and silly, but what a wonderful way to spend the evening. I did my hair, put on a fancy shirt, and for once did not put on my sweatshirt. He opened the car door for me and we were off to the restaurant. We ate, we talked, and not one booger was wiped from a tiny nose and no one was sent to a naughty corner. Back home we watched a movie that did not include a cartoon animal and rhyming songs with dancing spoons. It was simple and it was bliss.
