I haven’t had a gym membership in a long time, and I have exercised consistently in a few years now. I just don’t have it in me. I don’t want to, I am tired, and all the other stuff I do like gardening, cleaning the house, and life in general leaves me drained at the end of the day. So I don’t exercise even though I know I should. I saw a little blurb the other day that just might change my way of thinking about working out again. Because I am lazy I didn’t read the whole thing, but it said “Doing the exercises half effort is better than nothing at all.” OH MY GOSH! I can’t give it 100%, but 50% is doable. I didn’t even know that was an option. Every exercise video or instructor in real life always pushes 110%. GO GO GO PUSH PUSH PUSH!! How about Nope nope nope. But mediocre I can do. To me that seems totally reasonable. Starting today I can give it just a little.
