What a really useful book, for every kind of traveler interested in the Pacific Northwest, and how convenient to have it on my Kindle and phone! I love how the author organized the book by suggested activity (e.g., picking apples, or winter storm watching, or hiking to hot springs), and I love how she's provided all the practical how-tos you'll need to make that fun thing happen -- like suggested travel routes, good hotels, tasty places to eat, and even, here and there, recipes to help handle the heaps of good things you'll bring back home. The writing is as lovely and easy to follow as the outings she describes. Good, good stuff -- highly recommended!

I follow the author on Twitter and also frequent her website at nwtripfinder.com. I always get great ideas of off the beaten path things to do in my backyard playground of the Pacific Northwest. This is the author's first book. I downloaded it right away. So cool to have all this information on my iPhone. I think some of the content is gleaned from the databases of her website. It's very convenient to have it all here in one eBook to reference at a moment's notice. I look forward to more books in the future!

I've been following this author's blog for a while and have taken a couple of her suggestions for trips, to my family's great enjoyment. This is a delightful and well put-together book, and I can't wait to try out the escapes described here.
