Ever felt that magnet-like pull about a book where you fall in love with the cover and feel the urgency to start reading it Right Now? That's what Sara's Sleep did to me. I am a voracious reader and I devoured this book in one sitting. I am pretty sure I am going to read it again. The author, who is also a very good friend is someone I greatly admire for her wonderful writing style, sense of humor and her ability to weave a story so gripping that one cannot wait to see what will happen next. As an aspiring writer myself, I found myself imagining all sorts of outcomes to this story - and was thrilled when it wasn't what I expected.
What I love best about the book is it has all the ingredients an excellent novel needs: love, humor,romance,suspense, uncertainty, a hint of villainy, jealousy and above all, a fine web of relationships - all beautifully narrated with style. I could be biased, but my favorite was the wonderful bonding between the two main characters, Sara and her daughter - probably because I was very close to my Mom. I enjoyed falling in love with each of the characters as they walked into the story - and right into my heart!

Sara's Sleep is a beautiful story by an accomplished writer who knows exactly how to do what she is doing. As I eagerly await her next book, I highly recommend this one for those who enjoy a great story that leaves them feeling satisfied, and thinking about all the possibilities in the story. I wished the book would go on.
Get the book! I read the Kindle version - but I am very eagerly waiting for the paperback version to show off on my bookshelf!
