I gave this book 5 stars as it kept me waiting to read more. The book demonstrates different spiritual giftings and how God can use you at any age. I can wait to read the next one, Angel in the Fire x

I know the invisible world that is all around us. My name is Megan Laughlin. I live in Clearwater, Florida. I'm fifteen, and I see angels. Megan has a unique ability, she can see angels and demons. She's been at war with one in particular while attending high school and that is Damon Vincent Lawless, according to the name that is on the school records, but everyone is school knows him by the name Jude or Judas.

It seems like Judas' goal is to attack and kill those closest to Megan. He almost claimed the life of her younger brother Max and her boyfriend Seth. But Megan made a deal with Judas. She gave him her life and would pretend to be his girlfriend, if he promised not to kill Seth or Max. For now, Judas is buying his time until he can twist that negotiation into something more than Megan could ever imagine.

In Angel in the Ice, the third book in the Angel Series by Lisa Grace, Megan and most of her friends are heading to a Blowing Rock, a lodge in the mountains that offers some great skiing and snowboarding, but with Judas geared to go, it will be anything but fun. Judas' mission is to find and locate souls that haven't given themselves up to God yet and take their lives. Armed with a legion of demon waiting his word, Judas plans to keep Megan and her demon hunters busy this time. Knowing he can vanish as will and walk through walls, Megan knows it's impossible to keep an eye on him every minute they are at the lodge.

With only a few of her friends who know who Judas is and what Megan's abilities are, they vow to work together along with an angel named Johnny to keep Judas' evil plans from becoming a reality. But with a blizzard of the century set to keep the resort isolated, it's only a matter of time before evil is unleashed in snow and ice. Will Megan be able to keep her friends alive or will the pact that she made with Judas be her undoing in the final hours on the mountain?

I received Angel in the Ice compliments of Lisa Grace for my honest review. I was super excited to read this one and know that many of my readers have enjoyed this Christian alternative to stories like Twilight or Harry Potter. Now with the first two books Angel in the Shadows and Angel in the Storm being made into a movie, this third picks up the heart-stopping action once again. Our favorite characters we've come to enjoy are back in this continuing sequel with more thrills and spiritual warfare at it's finest.

What I've come to enjoy most about Lisa's books is that they are almost the equivalent to Frank Peretti's Piercing the Darkness and This Present Darkness series of books for young adults. The reader is brought face to face with the spiritual realm of angels and demons in this book and we get to see just how faith in God and prayer works to impede the enemies plans for evil. The book also introduces the readers to just how innocently we may open ourselves up to the presence of evil that exists in the world today, even though society for the most part would deny that it does indeed exist.

I am honored to review this series and for those of you looking for a fantastic series that will engage you from the beginning to the very end, this is a MUST READ for you! For those of you that have been waiting like I have on pins and needles for this sequel, it's available on eBooks right now, with two more to follow. This one easily rates a 5 out of 5 stars in my personal opinion and hope that everyone picks this one up!

Non-stop action, just like the first two books. This one was a bit more tame than the second in the series, but I still found myself yelling at the characters for some bad decisions. As expected in a disaster movie, the story is told from the point of view of several players, and the disaster shown from many angles. Overall a well-written and fun read!

After finishing book 2 at 7.15 this evening I decided to download the 3rd one, I wanted to know what would come next. 2 and a bit hours later I had finished the book.
Megan has gone on a school trip to the ski slopes in North Carolina, she's thrilled because her boyfriend Seth's school is going to be there too. Finally they will have more time together, but a shadow hangs over them, Jude's threat is surrounding Megan and she can see no way of getting him to leave her alone and she doesn't know what he is planning to do. Sure enough everything starts to go wrong, injuries, avalanches, arguments and fights, no one seems to be safe anymore. But how can Megan and Seth save everyone at once?
This book seemed to fly by, there is so much packed into it, but it didn't seem rushed or over the top.
I have actually really gotten into this series and come to like the characters, I still don't feel as close to them as I do some other characters in other books due to the writing style, but the more I read about them the more 'real' they seem. On that note, the writing is still quite 'tell' instead of 'show', it's obviously her style and to be honest I think I'm getting used to it, it didn't bother me quite as much in this book. It stood out on a couple of occasions but I soon moved past it.
I actually thought this was a trilogy and was surprised when I got to the end and realised it didn't end, but that there were 2 more books to come. Neither of which are out yet. I do still want to know how it all ends so I will be looking out for the next one.
The religious aspect became second nature to me in this book and just a part of the characters, it would still count as 'religious fiction' so if you're not into that it would probably put you off, but I actually enjoyed this one a lot.

I finished this book in one day! Lisa has such a way with words and characters. I could always love Seth and his relationship with God. Megan's urge to stop Judas. Also how Megan can stay true to god but still show she struggles with what every teen does aswell. Lisa made the angels and demons work out so fluently. The angels make me feel safe and the demons give me chills.

Megan and her youth followed by Seth (Megan's boyfriend) youth are going on a ski trip together. Megan has a not so secret, secret. Megan can see angels and demons. She has only told some of her closest friends. The book picks up where Megan is packing for a ski trip with her youth and her boyfriend Seths youth. Megan faces her past with a demon named Judas who wants her soul for himself and will do whatever he can to get it. Judas has promised temporary protection over her boyfriend and brother for one catch he gets her life but not her soul.

Megan's best friend Mandy is focused on having her baby but the father Alex will do anything to prevent being a father. Judas will do anything to get a soul for himself. Megan and her friends will do anything to stop it. This book will have you on the edge of your seat until the end. I couldn't put this book down. The friendship, betrayal, struggles, faith, and bravery come together to make the best books for any christian. What will happen when
you put angels demons and a human target that sees it all and will stand up for God and her friends is put to the test? Read this book and find out.
