I have had this book for sometime and have only just read it as part of the Matchmaker and Rogues compilation of stories, and I sorry it has taken me some time to read it. What a sweet story it is, with Molly Moseley being a Matchmaker and her dearest friend Daniel Rocksavage wanting her help to find him a wife. (The Beast! as unbeknown to him Molly has loved him for years) Fortunately for Molly she finds happiness I would thoroughly recommend this book.

Sweet, well written romances are hard to find. Well written novellas are even harder. Yet, Caylen McQueen manages to hit another one out of the park, with "Miss Moseley the Matchmaker".

Molly is a 30 year old spinster who has a talent for matchmaking. Imagine her horror when her best friend, Daniel, Lord Rocksavage asks her to match make for him. She has loved Daniel since they were children. But, he doesn't see her that way. So Molly sets out to find the Daniel's perfect bride. Along the way, she finds a suitor for herself in Julian, the uncle of one of the potential brides. Will Daniel finally see Molly in a new light? Will she end up with her secret love or someone different?

I loved this novella. It had the depth that I require in a truly satisfying read. Character development was spot on. So was the dialogue, pacing and plot. I understood and liked these characters. I also wasn't sure who Molly would end up with, but my pick was her pick too.

Caylen McQueen has written a sweet story that I will revisit often. "Miss Mosley the Matchmaker" joins her "Spinster and the Beast "on my Desert Island pile.
