We have started planning our next big family trip in the motor-home and this year it will be Victoria, British Columbia. Of course the first thing I did was start watching videos of the top places to visit while in Victoria. The whole trip for me is going to be planned around going to the Butchart Gardens. The last time I was there was my early twenties. So basically forever ago. The first two days will be longs hours of driving up Highway 5 to get to the car ferry in Washington. I am NOT looking forward to that. Hubby says it won’t be a problem with both of us driving. I told him of course I would help drive. Just like I did on all the trips. He drives 95% of the time and I will do ALL the rest. When we first got the motor-home I had planned to drive half the time on our trips. I used to drive a big UPS truck, and a motor-home is just like that. In reality it just doesn’t go that way and he does most of the driving. I will worry about that later though. Right now it’s all about gardens and whales. Any suggestions on where we should go?
