I am not sure if I am just doing a choir that needs to be done or giving myself my own personal intervention. There are a few things I am really good at. The first is organizing. I am a master at hiding things around my house. The other thing I am very good at is finding treasurers at thrift stores, estates sales, and garage sales. So many fun treasures out there. Yesterday I decided that I really needed to spend a little time reviewing what I had. It took about three hours for me to take everything out of their hiding spots, down from the attic, and out of all the garage cupboards. When it was all said and done I was absolutely shocked. There are so many boxes and boxes of treasures filling up the garage floor. I knew I had a lot, but it is very jarring to see it all in once place. Oh the guilt. Thankfully I don’t actually want to keep any of it, but I do need to get off my tushy and be more diligent about selling it. I really hope seeing the piles will keep me out of the thrift store for a little while. Fingers crossed.

At a given time, seven people on Earth have the mark. They are known as emulators, and they are hunted…
A.A. McCoy was lucky enough to discover a pattern in the trees. Now he is locked up. They will kill McCoy when they get it out of him. The location of the seventh key.

In Antarctica, the cold part, Belle Vail does not know she is an emulator. Not yet. Instead this callused deep core driller is too busy falling in love in the most romantic spot on earth. They will find her here though. It is the first place they look.

They are The Smiths, a faction started 900 years ago by Saint Malachy of Ireland when he predicted Pope Francis would be the last pope. Malachy also foresaw the emulators and the hunt for the keys. He did not intend to unleash such malevolence.

After a famed archeologist is murdered, his daughter Cana finds a message from him. He tells her The Smiths cannot be allowed to find the seventh key. She is the daughter of a digger; she will not fail. She can’t.

A little girl from the Midwest, an orphan, knows how the end will happen. And yes, they will find her too. She is orphan-tough though. She will have to be.

Guam Eagle: WWII True Story of George Tweed and the Chamorro Resistance
by Daniel Wrinn
4.2 Stars (8 Reviews)

FREE for a limited time

Six Americans refused surrender when Japan captured Guam. Five were executed. One sailor survived 31 months evading the Japanese.

December 10, 1941. George Tweed became the longest-surviving American fugitive of World War II hiding in northern Guam’s limestone cliffs. His survival depended on Chamorro families who shared their food, built underground networks, and endured Japanese torture to protect him.

When the Japanese suspected helpers, they responded with public beheadings and threats to annihilate entire bloodlines. Dozens were interrogated. Many were executed. None betrayed Tweed’s location.

Guam Eagle tells three stories the history books kept separate: Tweed’s extraordinary endurance, the Chamorro resistance that made it possible, and what happened after liberation when one Chevrolet became both gratitude and controversy.

Drawing from declassified documents and personal testimonies, this is the untold Pacific War story of loyalty, resistance, and complicated liberation.
