It always seems like Thursdays sneak up on you. I have been working hard to get things ready to move into my spot at the vintage mall. My living room is an absolute mess with my treasures on every single surface. I only have a 4 foot by 4 foot square space, but somehow when the items are not on the display shelf they fill up an entire room. Speaking of the display shelf. Oh hubby. You wild and crazy man you. I asked him if he could put a few lights on it and some chicken wire on the back to I could hang things on it. He may have gone overboard. All I heard from the garage for a solid 3 hours were banging and thumping. Around 9pm last night he and my youngest baby basset brought the display shelf back into the living room. He was in full giggle mode when he said “Watch this” It was a full blown light show! Colors changing, chasing, and dancing to the music. Seriously???? You couldn’t even look directly at it. Yup. It might be a bit much, but hubby assured me that it could also be set to soft white light. If we have a party at the store we are fully set for festive lights.

Unbeknownst to two teenagers — Ralph worried about a history exam he didn’t study for and Sarah having studied all weekend — a flu pandemic with apocalyptic proportions rages over the world. On Monday, they arrive at their high school besieged by men in hazmat suits, escorting infected teenagers to buses. Ralph is forced on one of these quarantine buses and Sarah, along with the remaining healthy student body, gets quarantined at school.
This flu however is worse than the 1918 Spanish Flu that killed a hundred million people — much worse. This flu turns its victims into the walking dead. The few not infected are left not only with the grief of their family and friends passing, but also with the horror of their families, friends, and neighbors trying to rip the flesh off them.
Ralph — unsure about the real destination of the bus and trapped inside with kids that are getting worse by the minute — may not get to the destination in time before the first one dies. Sarah, trapped at school, deals with a worsening situation that she soon needs to escape from.
Will the zombies feast on their young flesh or will they escape?

A Lark’s Tale: A Regency Cozy (Verity Lark Mysteries Book 1)
by Lynn Messina
(1,197 Reviews)
FREE for a limited time
Verity Lark knows everything.
As the London Daily Gazette’s popular gossip columnist, she is extremely adept at sneaking into houses, assuming disguises and overseeing a vast network of spies to ensure she stays abreast of the beau monde’s comings and goings. If it sometimes seems as though she was hiding behind the settee during a particularly fierce quarrel between a husband and his wife, it’s most likely because she was hiding behind the settee during their fierce quarrel.
But nobody knows her.
Writing under a pen name, Verity safeguards her anonymity via an elaborately constructed alter ego. Seemingly everywhere, Mr. Twaddle-Thum is in fact nowhere. He has never met with an informant or skulked in a dark alley. He simply does not exist. That is why she is so startled to discover he has recently been spotted at a variety of locations. A Twaddle-Sham is knocking about London and in such a ham-handed manner he is inciting people to murder.
At least that’s what Verity thinks is happening when she stumbles across a plot to kill him.
Or her.
Who is the real target?
Well, see, that’s just the problem because Verity can’t actually say.
For the first time in years, she isn’t sure of anything.
