I am freaking myself out! I just made the appointment with the DMV for my oldest to take the drivers test. It will not be until early June, but I am already starting to get really nervous. His best buddy took the test a few months ago and reassured me that it was easy. My oldest is more excited than stressed. I should be more like him. I don’t know why I took the initiative to make the appointment for him when I am scared to death of him driving on his own. Yes, I know I need to let go, but…do I? I could always just drive him everywhere he wants for the rest of his life, right? Yaa… I know.

The Prickly Pear Murder: An Oscar the Doxie Detective Mystery
by Sharon Michaels
4.5 Stars (50 Reviews)
Genre: Mystery, Thriller & Suspense

FREE for a limited time

This is book 1 in the Oscar the Doxie Detective Mystery Series.

Happy Hills is abuzz with excitement when neighbor Mable Goody is found dead in the middle of her prize possession – a large prickly pear cactus. Who could have committed murder in their quiet subdivision?

Suspicion immediately turns to Sam and Sara Mitchell and their mini-dachshund Oscar. They’d had a few run-ins with Mable over Oscar spending a little too much time sniffing around her prickly pear. Mable even threatened them with a shotgun if they didn’t keep that wiener dog away from her cactus. Could a neighborly quarrel be motive enough for a late night murder?

Oscar has his own story to tell and a murder to solve. Oscar and his furry friends of the Happy Hills Canine Detective Club set out to clear Sam and Sara and find the real murderer of their grumpy neighbor.

A short fun light-hearted cozy mystery you can probably read in an hour or so. Pour your favorite beverage, power up your e-reader, sit back and enjoy seeing the world through the eyes of Oscar the doxie detective. I’m guessing after reading this canine adventure, you’ll realize your own dog knows a lot more than you think.

Regular yoga practice has been proven to reduce body inflammation and increase the range of motion. And that is excellent news for arthritis sufferers. On top of that, yoga has many other health benefits including:
Relieving stress,
Increasing strength,
Improving balance,
Enhancing flexibility.
And many more!

Yoga is not only for the body but also for the mind and the spirit for an overall well-being

Yoga is not just a form of exercise. When it developed in India thousands of years ago, it was intended as a path to spiritual enlightenment. In fact, the word yoga means “to join together.” It uses poses, breathing, and meditation to unite the body and mind, and brings (among many other health benefits) a sense of peace and well-being. In yoga, mind, body, and spirit are considered three inseparable parts of the whole.

Feeling good is enough encouragement for many to participate in the practice, but if you’re suffering from the chronic stiffness, pain, and discomfort of arthritis and related conditions, there is even better news: yoga can do you a world of good.
