My dryer died again. The heating element went out last month, but hubby fixed it and all was well again. That is until this morning when I went to put last night’s wash in it to dry. 3:30 am this morning, pretty much still asleep, I put the clothes in, shut the dryer door, and pushed the buttons. Nothing. It just sat there blinking at me. I just sat there looking at it. I watched a stupid little red light flash at me. It’s like my dryer was trying to tell me something. Doesn’t it know I don’t speak dryer? I turned it off, then back on. Still blinking. I DON’T SPEAK DRYER! Off, then back on. Blink blink blink. This went on for a few minutes. Finally I decide I needed a new plan of action. I unplugged it, and plugged it back in. Pressed the buttons again. Blink blink blink. Um… can you just dry my clothes? Please? I feel like we are just not communicating here. I walked away, and its been a few hours. I wonder if I just try again it will work. One second. I will be right back. Grrrrr…. stupid dryer.
