I have to make sure I don’t read or hear about any illnesses, because as soon as I do I start feeling the symptoms. It drives me nuts! It’s just like when someone mentions fleas, I start itching. ICKY!! Don’t say anything about restless leg syndrome right before I go to bed. It will be hours before I am able to fall asleep. Too bad it doesn’t work the same for things that are actually good for me. When someone mentions exercise, I never feel an incredible urge to jog or do jumping jacks. Nope, I feel the urge to sit on the couch. Funny how that works.

A cosy and sweet romance to warm your heart and brighten your day!
A new flat on Bluebell Road, London, and a new job at the posh Bartley’s Department Store, is just what Julia West needs, after leaving behind a disastrous affair that saw her dumped. Moving into the flat on Bluebell Road with new friends, Lydia and Kate, is the perfect tonic as Julia sets about getting her life back together again. What she doesn’t expect is to meet gorgeous Nick Bartley and to end up working for him on a top secret project – as nanny to his sister’s children.
Nick Bartley runs Bartley’ Department Store with his super-efficient sister, Clarissa. But when he learns Clarissa is facing a crisis and that her life is falling apart, he sends her away to get better and is left holding the fort for her — as in, caring for her four, young children. Something he is not qualified to do and certainly not prepared for, and he needs help! When he meets Julia West, a sales assistant in Housewares, he offers her the chance to work for him and his sister.
Working in posh Chelsea is a far cry from what Julia is used to, but as she gradually becomes accustomed to it, she also finds a place in her heart for the four children, Henry, Seb, Milly, and Bea. And that place in her heart is not just for them, but also, she finds for their gorgeous Uncle Nick, too.
Except that when the week is up she’ll go back to Housewares and Nick will go back to being the enigmatic boss and just like Cinderella, the ball will be over.
Grab a cuppa and put your feet up and enjoy this cosy romance in the style of the classic romance novel. A Cinderella story about a woman who isn’t looking for love and certainly doesn’t expect it find it in the irresistible and charming (and not to mention wealthy) Nick Bartley.
A cosy and sweet romance, (no love scenes) with lovable characters and a classic plot, written in a gentle style that will make you feel right at home on Bluebell Road.
