Last year I was absolutely obsessed with putting frogs in my backyard. I was fortunate enough to get quite a few tadpoles from a friends pool. I had such high hopes when I set up a cute little pond for them with a waterfall and floating plants. For a few months is was quite fun to walk through the garden and see tiny little frogs hopping around. They were very shy, so I had to keep a sharp out to spot them. Unfortunately, by Summer time I no longer would spot any frogs. The increase of birds in the yard seemed to be an indication that I went through all that trouble for bird food. This year I don’t think I will get frogs, but I am curious to see if any return.
