I really want to do something different for this Thanksgiving dinner this year. I will cook a turkey with stuffing of course, because I just love the whole act of cooking the turkey on Thanksgiving. It’s not my favorite part of the meal, but for me it would be like not having a tree for Christmas. I am thinking side dishes. I need to retire my broccoli casserole. I always make broccoli casserole for every occasion, and quite frankly it has lost its sparkle. I picked up some already cubed butternut squash and today I am going to search the magic internet for something new. Although, now that I am thinking about it, I should have gone with acorn squash. That seems like it is next level in the squash dish game. Hmmph. Okay, I will work on the butternut squash today and see if I find anything exciting. If you have any recommendations for a butternut squash dish I would love to hear it!
