I have been pretty much ignoring all of my responsibilities during my front yard renovation, and my house is showing it. BAD! Yesterday I finished shoveling the last of 6 yards of dirt in the front yard, and now I need to wait for hubby to do the irrigation portion. Since he works weekdays I might have to wait until the weekend before any new progress is made. That is very frustrating to me, but it does give me a few days to do a little catch-up with grocery shopping and chores. We can’t have hotdogs every night for dinner, although we certainly are testing that theory. NUMBER 1 MOM OVER HERE! Thankfully my baby bassets are old enough now and can take care of themselves. In fact, through this whole project, they have been the ones taking care of me bringing me water and lunches. I think it’s good that I have to wait for hubby before I can do anything else, or else things would be completely neglected until the project was done. That is still quite a bit of work away. I stopped for ten seconds the other day and realized there has been a leak under the kitchen sink for a few days at the very least. On the other hand, if I don’t stop all of these other things wouldn’t happen right? If I don’t know about them, do they really happen?

Five more attacks happen in a week, launching the entire city into a panic and causing the mayor to throw all of the city’s resources into stopping the rampage. But while the detectives work around the clock, they don’t know the killer has upped the game — by making them his next targets.

The sport she loves is out of reach. The boy she loves has someone else. What now?

She expected to start Harkness College as a varsity ice hockey player. But a serious accident means that Corey Callahan will start school in a wheelchair instead.

Across the hall, in the other handicapped-accessible dorm room, lives the too-delicious-to-be real Adam Hartley, another would-be hockey star with his leg broken in two places. He’s way out of Corey’s league.
Also, he’s taken.

Nevertheless, an unlikely alliance blooms between Corey and Hartley in the “gimp ghetto” of McHerrin Hall. Over perilously balanced dining hall trays, and video games, the two cope with disappointments that nobody else understands.

They’re just friends, of course, until one night when things fall apart. Or fall together. All Corey knows is that she’s falling. Hard.

But will Hartley set aside his trophy girl to love someone as broken as Corey? If he won’t, she will need to find the courage to make a life for herself at Harkness — one which does not revolve around the sport she can no longer play, or the brown-eyed boy who’s afraid to love her back.

An eye-opening myth-shattering saga through the New Testament
The New Testament is considered around the world as the holiest of books that presents God and Jesus Christ. However, this faith, so widespread today, was once no more than the opinion of a minority.

The belief that Jesus is God himself was instituted by the vote of 300 bishops at the Council of Nicaea. The perception of Mary Magdalene as a sinner in the eyes of Christians stems from a whim of Pope Gregory the Great.

The author takes you on a special journey in which he breaks with the teachings of the New Testament through an analysis of the Council of Nicaea, which shaped the basis of the Christian creed that exists to this day.

He integrates into this book his articles, using his deep acquaintance with the fields of art and the New Testament to put universal common beliefs on trial.
